The protagonist, Naohiro Mashiko, works as an encyclopedia editor. Having lost his passion for his job, he spends his days idly brooding in a park. Suddenly, the infamous ‘mesugaki’—rumored brats of the town—appear out of nowhere and attack him…!

Not only is he easily overwhelmed, but they even steal his money, shattering his dignity as an adult…

As he wanders the streets aimlessly, a mysterious pervert appears before him. Introducing himself as ‘Mr. Hypnosis,’ the stranger offers to teach him the art of hypnotism.

Determined to use hypnosis to get revenge on the mesugaki, the protagonist sets another new goal for himself: to create a ‘Mesugaki Encyclopedia’!

To reignite the passion for his work that he’d lost as an encyclopedia editor, Naohiro resolves to ‘teach these mesugaki a lesson’ and begins his struggle…!
